			<title><![CDATA[Parking at Sutter]]></title>
			<description>
				<![CDATA[
								<p>As you have guessed by now, Sutter Middle School’s parking 
				situation was not designed with either staff or parents in mind. 
				Back when there were only 40 staff members we had plenty. We now 
				have over 80.</p>
				
				<h3>Parking Do's and Don’ts</h3>
				
				<ul>
					<li>Parking in the front lot 
					is for staff only. Please respect this rule!</li>
					<li>Please do not double-park 
					in the street. This will not make you popular with the other 
					parents.</li>
					<li>
					<p style="text-align: left">Parking across the street 
					is now by permit only, except for one hour parking at 
					specified areas.</li>
				</ul>

				<ul>
					<li>Parking in the red zone 
					in front of the school will get you a ticket.</li>
					<li>Please do not use the 
					alley to drop off students.</li>
					<li>If you have to park 
					temporarily, you may do so at the WHITE line in front of the 
					school either in the circle or at the curb. Please do not 
					block traffic or the entrances!</li>

				</ul>

				
				<p><b>Picking Up Sick Child</b></p>
				
				<p>If you have to pick up a sick child from room 102, you can 
				either: </p>

				<ul>
					<li>Park in front and walk 
					in.</li>
					<li>Pull down the East side 
					of the building to the sign indicating sick child pick up 
					Room 102. WARNING, you will have to back down the alley to 
					get back to the street.</li>
				</ul>

				
				<p><b>Open House and Events</b></p>
				
				<p>During Open House and other events there will be signs 
				indicating alternate parking on schools grounds. (i.e., 
				basketball courts and playing fields in back of the school). 
				Access will be from Alhambra, J and I streets. Please do not 
				block the entrances. </p>

SCHOOL OF ATTENDANCE:  
To determine your child’s school of attendance based on school boundary, please call the Student Hearing and Placement Dept. at (916) 643-9425.  When you give your address, they can tell you the elementary, middle and high school assigned to that address.

<h2>New Booster Shot Requirements</h2></P>
<p>
All students entering grades 7-12 this fall must show proof of receiving their TDaP (tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis) booster before they can attend school in September! This applies to every current student, new student and transfer student. Please bring proof of this booster to school to be reviewed and recorded. <h2>STUDENT ORIENTATION INFORMATION</h2></P>
<p>
7th Grade and All New Students Orientation is on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in the Multi-Purpose Room.  Orientation names are based on last names.  A - L 9-10 a.m.    M - Z 1-2 pm.
Orientation will consist of school policies and procedures, carpool sign up, PTSO information/membership drive, RT information, information about locks for PE and hallway lockers.  We will be having a TDAP clinic on campus the day of orientation from 9am - 2pm. PE clothes are for sale. $48 cash for complete outfit.  Remember to come at least 40 minutes early for parking and seating.
