Student Registration Information 2010-11 School Year

Open Enrollment Registration

The Open Enrollment application process for SCUSD and Sutter Middle School is February 16 - 28, 2010. Please return to our home page and click on the link for open enrollment.

Once accepted to Sutter via Open Enrollment, registration for Open Enrollment for the 2010-11 school year will take place April 12th through April 30th in the second floor office at Sutter Middle School.

The best times to enroll are from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The following documents are needed:

1. The Open Enrollment Acceptance Letter

2. One proof of address----such as a rental statement, a mortgage statement, a property tax bill or a paycheck statement

3. Latest sixth grade report card showing both first and second trimester grades

4. Last year’s STAR report

(These last two documents may be obtained from your child’s elementary school office or teacher)

We do not need the birth certificate or immunization record if your child is currently attending a Sacramento City Unified School District school.

Neighborhood Registration

If you live in the Sutter Middle School attendance area, please come to the school beginning May 10th to register your child for 7th or 8th grade.

The best times to come to register are between 9 and 11 a.m. or 1 and 3 p.m. The following documents are needed:

1. Two proofs of address---such as a rental statement, a mortgage statement, a property tax bill or a paycheck statement with your name on the documents.

2. Latest sixth grade report card showing both the first and second trimester grades

3. Last year’s STAR test report results

You may obtain the sixth grade report card and STAR test report from your child’s elementary school teacher or school office.

If you are new to the Sacramento City Unified School District, you will also need to bring a copy or original of your childs’ birth certificate and an immunization record.
